I Just Keep Knitting Along
I'm slowly working my way through the pattern. The front and back are done, and the sleeves are almost finished (they would be all finished, but I messed up the decreases for the cap and had to frog back). Soon I'll sew them together and then start the skirt. This isn't the assembly order from the pattern, but I've found that sleeves go in easier if they're sewn in and then one long seam in sewn up from sleeve cuff to the body edge.

My Tilted Duster is moving along quite nicely. I've finished both fronts and back:
Lets not forget the Sleeves:
I've even seamed the shoulders and sides. I don't have a picture to share, so you will have to take my word for it! The next stage is picking up stitches for the collar and skirt - and since I LOVE doing this, I hope to have a finished sweater soon.

FO- Tilted Duster
It's finally done. Wow. Took me long enough, but it just kept getting pushed further down in the pile of WIPs. Folks, this sweater is a WINNER. I'm lovin' it.
Pattern: Tilted Duster by Norah Gaughan
Source: Interweave Knits Fall 2007
Yarn: 5 skeins of Berocco Ultra Alpaca in Purple
Needles: Size 9 Addi Turbos
Started: September 2007
Finished: November 17, 2007
Modifications: The word on the street is the sleeves run small so I increased an extra 2 stitches at either end and only kept with the same amount of decreases.
